So dry,
Yesterday, as soon as we crossed the New Mexico state line we discovered a wonderful bar, The Western Inn. After 100 miles of dry Texas plains we came across this was friendly bar, with several motorcycles in front, the coldest beer I've had in a long time, and a seriously excellent shuffleboard table. We stopped for one beer and stayed for three. We played the jukebox and chatted with the bartender, who lived in Austin a long time ago. She told us about a biker rally they hold in May. We discussed our trip with the other bikers who had been to Telluride the year before. We seriously contemplated never leaving.
